Tags
  • Capitalization is unimportant, tags will all end up in lowercase once saved.
  • Don't use commas to separate tags, just put a space between them.
  • The name tag is used for the log system.
  • Tags are used to organize various lists, so precision is important. Check your spelling.

There are a few types of tags that you will find throughout this wiki:

  • Character Tags - Tags for Character Profile Pages.
  • Location Tags - Tags found on Grid Location Pages off of the Directory.
  • OOC/Wiki/WIP Tags - Staff used Tags that help keep things on the Wiki organized.

Character Tags

When you are done adding your information to your new character bio page, hit the "Save" button to save your page. Scroll down to the bottom of your newly filled-in page. There you will see a row of small links. Click the "Tags" link (second from the left) to add tags to your page. The easiest way to fill in your basic tags is using the +wiki/tags command in the game. This will give you the tags to copy/paste into your wiki page. Some more specialized tags may be missing, though, so take note of the explanations below.

  1. All characters should have the character tag
  2. All characters should have a tag for their name. This will be the character's first and last name, separated by a hyphen (just like in the page's address). firstname-surname
  3. All characters should also have a tag for their faction, with the following format: role:<name>. For example, a medic would have the tag faction:house-<housename>.
  4. Bloodlines are important things in Oldtown. Replace dad with the sire's surname and mom with the mother's maiden name. bloodline:house-mom and bloodline:house-dad
  5. General location of the character. This is either foreign countries, Westeros regions, or King's Landing, or specifically Oldtown if the character is in town and on grid. location:oldtown/the-reach/king's-landing/braavos
  6. If an Oldtown local/resident if the character has an on-grid home use this tag followed by the locations co-ordinates home:X-#-#-#
  7. If they have a business or work in a specific location put in work:X-#-#-#
  8. There are two political climates going on in this era, the Westeros wide political factions of the Greens versus the Blacks. If the character supports the Greens, Queen Alicent and her Son's claim to the throne include: political:blacks if they are for Princess Rhaenyra being heir put political:greens More locally in the reach there is some unrest where the Florents are using their clout to finally try to overthrow the Tyrells and take Highgarden once and for all. If your local Reachman supports this overthrow and is for the Florents becoming rulers of the Reach use political:blues Those for the Tyrells continued rule: political:golds
  9. Last but not least is character status, pick one most appropriate: status:noble/smallfolk/godsworn/maester/wildling/foreigner
