Maester Character Creation

This is a walk-thru for character creation for a Maester concept. In an effort to make the creation process as easy as possible, we provide nearly everything in copy and paste formats to take from the wiki here, into the game. Please make sure that the character is in the right room in the creation in the game.

Title

In the Citadel there is a rather strict process of titles and responsibility. Please see the Maesters lore page for greater detail on what each title represents.

Choose one of the following, and in the game, type:

+rank Novice
+rank Acolyte
+rank Maester
+rank Archmaester - Only with Staff Permission
+rank Seneschal - Only with Staff Permission
+rank Grand Maester - NPC

Name

Most Westerosi names are Saxon-originated (or passably so) English names with one or two consonant sound substitutions, ("Edward" to "Eddard") or a vowel shift ("Jeffrey" to "Joffrey") and it is preferred that this pattern is used to construct names.
Maesters only have a first name. Part of the process of becoming a Maester is giving up all links and ties to any House and the politics that would distract the maester.

For the character's name, (Replacing the <>s and NAME with character's first name) in the game, type:

+name <NAME>

Fealty

Unlike other characters Fealty for a Maester is one of two things. The House that they are assigned to, or None, which means they are stationed at the Citadel. The second option is greatly recommended as it provides more opportunities for role-playing, being in Oldtown.

In the game, type one of the following:

+fealty None
+fealty House <HOUSENAME>

Faction

Maesters of the Citadel has one faction.

In the game, type:

+faction Citadel

Status Rank

Nice and simple, there is one option for Maester's Status Rank.

Copy and paste the below into the game:

+rank Maester
