Interior
This small round tower is four stories tall. It is so narrow that each floor houses only one room — three in all. The fourth and highest level is honeycombed near the roofline with holes for doves to fly in and out, and the rest of its interior lined with pigeonholes for their nesting. The rest of the building, unfortunately, has only the smallest of windows to let in the light.
A chimney is built into the round wall at one side, allowing each of the habitable rooms to have a fireplace. The bottom floor has a heavy, smooth wooden table and a few matching chairs, and an arch-shaped leather-covered high-backed bench that was clearly made to fit the space. It's clean in here, and the wide plank floors smooth and polished, but it always smells a little dusty.
